2007 BARNRAISING
Join Timber Frame Instructor & Agricultural Historian Ev Rau this Spring thru Fall to build a new Threshing Barn next to his old Dutch Barn.
Ev is gifting Pleasantview Farm to the next generation of the Rau Family so that it will continue in its third century of farming and become an educational resource for the local community.
DBPS is sponsoring two tours to the Farm. April 22 for the National Barn Alliance Conference in Albany, and October 21 for NYS Barn Coalition Conference at the Mabee Farm.
The weekend of October 19, 20 & 21 is scheduled to be the actual raising of the Frame.
